No data collection or tracking
Mark does not collect personal information, browsing history, page content, annotations, or saved files. Mark does not use advertising trackers or sell or share data with third parties.
Access stays in context
Mark accesses a webpage only after you select Mark from Safari’s toolbar. That access is used on your device to highlight, draw, outline, add notes, and save the page you chose. Mark does not monitor your browsing or send webpage content to us.
You control your files
Annotations and files remain on your device or in storage you choose, such as a local folder or iCloud Drive. You decide when to save, move, export, sync, share, or delete them.
If you choose a cloud or sharing service, that service handles the file under its own privacy terms.
Purchases
Mark’s 30-day evaluation does not require a subscription or start a charge. Its start, expiry, and access status are stored locally on your device, including in the system Keychain, to enforce the evaluation period. These records are not sent to us.
Apple handles monthly and yearly subscription purchases. Mark checks Apple’s verified transaction information to determine access, but does not process your payment information. Apple’s terms and privacy policy apply to those transactions.
Policy updates
This policy may be updated as Mark develops. Any revised version will be posted here with a new update date.
